Kristin Polet: Varsity Coach

College: The College of New Jersey

A 2003 North Hunterdon High School graduate, Coach Polet (formerly Boyer) earned the 2003 Student Athlete award, given to only one male and one female each year, being recognized for her achievements on and off the athletic field. She proceeded to earn a four year starting outfield position at The College of New Jersey. Polet was selected NJAC player of the week in 2004 as well as being selected to the NJAC All-Conference team in 2006. She received NJAC Honorable Mention in 2007. Polet graduated in 2007 with a BS in Health and Physical Education, as well as a minor in Biology. She received a Health and Physical Education teaching position at Phillipsburg High School as well as the Head Varsity Softball coaching position. In 2012, Polet was named All West-Jersey Coach of the Year by The Star-Ledger. This year will be Coach Polet’s sixteenth season with the Liners’.

Katelyn Marinelli: Junior Varsity Coach

Katelyn Marinelli is a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, having played her senior year under Coach Boyer. She then attended Kean University and played softball there all four years. She brings to our coaching staff first hand catching knowledge.

Raymond C. Patt: Team Manager

HOMETOWN: PHILLIPSBURG, NJ

Raymond Patt has been with the softball program since 1995 and became a full time softball assistant coach and team manager in 2001. He is also the team manager for football and wrestling at PHS as well as an assistant for the Steele Hill Football team. Patt is a six-time All Region and six-time State Champion in the 400 meter dash in the Special Olympics of New Jersey. Patt is also the bullpen catcher for the softball team and umpires baseball throughout the town of Phillipsburg. Patt is a 1998 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and is a great asset to the PHS Softball program to this day.
