Kristin Boyer: Varsity Coach

A 2003 North Hunterdon High School graduate, Coach Kristin Boyer earned the 2003 Student Athlete award, given to only one male and one female each year, being recognized for her achievements on and off the athletic field. She proceeded to earn a four year starting outfield position at The College of New Jersey. Boyer was selected NJAC player of the week in 2004 as well as being selected to the NJAC All-Conference team in 2006. She received NJAC Honorable Mention in 2007. Boyer graduated in 2007 with a BS in Health and Physical Education, as well as a minor in Biology. She received a Health and Physical Education teaching position at Phillipsburg High School as well as the Head Varsity Softball coaching position. In 2012, Boyer was named All West-Jersey Coach of the Year by The Star-Ledger. This year will be Coach Boyer’s eighth season with the Liners’.

Alison Robbins: Varsity Assistant Coach

Alison Robbins begins her eighth season with the Phillipsburg Stateliners. A 2001 Phillipsburg High School graduate, Robbins played softball for the Stateliners. She continued her playing career at Drew University, where she was a four year starter at pitcher and first base. Robbins was named Freedom Conference Pitcher of the Week in 2003 as well as being selected team MVP for the 2004 season. In 2005, she was honored with the Larry Horner Athletic Leadership Award, which was given to one male and female for their conduct both on and off the field. Robbins graduated with a BA in Sociology then went on to earn her MS in Health Education from East Stroudsburg University in 2008. She currently teaches Health and Physical Education at Phillipsburg High School.

Katelyn Marinelli: Junior Varsity Coach

Katelyn Marinelli is a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, having played her senior year under Coach Boyer. She then attended Kean University and played softball there all four years. She brings to our coaching staff first hand catching knowledge.

Crystal Amey: Freshman Coach

Year of Service: third

Crystal Amey begins her third season with the Phillipsburg Stateliner softball program. She is a knowledgeable addition to our coaching staff and has taken over our Freshman softball program.


Erica Bissonnette: 14u Lady Liners Coach

College: william patterson university

Erica Bissonnette is a graduate of Phillipsburg High School, having played her senior year under Coach Boyer. Since her graduation, Bissonnette has volunteered to coach the middle school team with Coach Boyer. Working side by side, these two coaches brought back a lost middle school program which has been growing in size and skill every year since!

Raymond C. Patt: Team Manager

YEAR OF SERVICE: fifteenth

Raymond Patt has been with the softball program since 1995 and became a full time softball assistant coach and team manager in 2001. He is also the team manager for football and wrestling at PHS as well as an assistant for the Steele Hill Football team. Patt is a six-time All Region and six-time State Champion in the 400 meter dash in the Special Olympics of New Jersey. Patt is also the bullpen catcher for the softball team and umpires baseball throughout the town of Phillipsburg. Patt is a 1998 graduate of Phillipsburg High School and is a great asset to the PHS Softball program to this day.
